Tier III-certified engines deliver lower emissions and all the power you expect from a Speedrower windrower, including the highest horsepower windrower in the industry-the H8080 at 226 horsepower. That's the power you need to achieve high-speed disc cutting at its most extreme, with New Holland's industry leading 18-foot Discbine® header. Full-flow turbochargers are standard on all H8000 Series windrower engines. A standard air-to-air intercooler cools air without adding heat to the engine cooling system to improve air density and combustion efficiency.


MowMax™ cutterbar peace of mind. This is the latest true modular cutterbar innovation from New Holland designed to cut more closely and cleanly. The MowMax cutterbar improves durability, and features the ShockPRO™ cutterbar protection system.


New dual windrow merger allows you to place two windrows side by side to take full advantage of the big chopping capacity available with today's big forage harvesters.


Comfort Ride™ cab with suspension. The four-point suspension system cushions your ride with iso-mounts on the front and coil springs over shocks at the rear. This allows you to take full advantage of high-speed cutting without taking the abuse of rough ground conditions. The Comfort Ride cab suspension also allows you to work across shallow pivot irrigation tracks without getting jostled in your seat.


Independent rear axle suspension. This patented option improves your speed and efficiency on uneven terrain. Separate left- and right-hand axle members oscillate independently against pressurized air suspension, providing an exceptional ride.


In-cab windrow shield changes. Optional, electric windrow shield adjustment gives you constant control of windrow formation from the cab so you can quickly respond to field and crop conditions. Shield position is shown on the electronic display.


Control flotation from the cab. The independent hydraulic header flotation system on the models H8060 and H8080 allows you to adjust the right and left side of the header separately, without leaving the cab. You can make on-the-fly flotation adjustments to compensate for variable cutting conditions, such as cutting on hillsides or on the top of irrigation borders.


Steering assistance. For hands free steering, add the EZ-Steer® assisted steering system and the EZ-Guide® 500 lightbar to your H8000 windrower. EZ-Steer uses guidance information from the lightbar to turn the steering wheel for you, providing excellent pass-to-pass accuracy in most locations. You spend more time focused on equipment operation.


EZ-Steer is an affordable upgrade to the EZ-Guide 500, a low cost alternative to auto-guidance and is easily transferred from one machine to another. Learn more about EZ-Steer and EZ-Guide.

Headers


Discbine® disc headers satisfy your need for speed by flying through acres of tough, heavy crops. A choice of three models offer you a wide selection of cutting widths to match your cutting needs. All three models utilize the MowMax cutterbar. The 14-disc 770HD offers the widest disc cut on the market-18 feet. The 12-disc 750HD makes a 15-foot, 5-inch cut and the 10-disc 720HD, with a 13-foot cutting width, is ideal for haymaking in humid climates where drydown is difficult.


HS Series Haybine® sickle headers, with cutting widths from 12 to 18 feet, have a long legacy of top cutting and conditioning performance.


Specialty headers-the "Grass Seed Savers"- include the 14HS sicklebar header and the NEW 750HD disc specialty header. Both are designed for fast, smooth cutting in delicate crops.


HB Series draper headers are the choice for high-capacity grain swathing. Cutting widths from 21 to 36 feet available.


Optional rear weight bracket and weights may be installed on any H8000 windrower to balance heavy or wide heads.


Cab


The deluxe Comfort Ride™ cab spoils you with outstanding comfort, visibility and control.


The cab is spacious and includes lots of legroom, plenty of storage and the added comfort of built-in footrests. Even the entry platform is more spacious and features an outside, lockable storage box that can also be reached from ground level.


The tinted, curved-glass windshield enhances visibility to the header and provides an outstanding overall view.


The deluxe air-ride, fabric-covered operator seat offers three fore/aft adjustment ranges, and includes a fore/aft isolator, lumbar adjustment, ride dampening and retractable seat belts.


A comfortable instructor's seat with seat belts is standard equipment and folds out of the way when not needed.


The three-way adjustable steering wheel telescopes and tilts at both floor and knee levels.


Comfort Ride™ cab suspension is standard equipment to take the bumps out of your ride. The four-point suspension includes iso-mounts on the front and coil springs over shocks at the rear that cushion you from chassis motion. This allows you to take full advantage of high-speed cutting without taking the abuse of rough ground conditions. Comfort Ride suspension also allows you to work across shallow pivot irrigation tracks without getting jostled in your seat.


The high-capacity air-conditioning and heating system has ten air vents for maximum air flow control.


The dual cab air filtration system includes a fresh air external filter and an in-cab recirculation filter.


The right-hand floating operator console can be adjusted independently of the operator seat, and once adjusted, moves or "floats" with the seat so the controls stay in the same position relative to your hand.


A hydrostatic Forward-Neutral-Reverse control lever is extremely comfortable to use and provides precise control of speed and direction.


The deluxe performance monitor can be programmed to display as desired-and provides an expanded four lines of display.


Both hydraulic header tilt and header power reverser are standard equipment.


Add the optional electric-adjust mirrors and you can make adjustments from inside the cab. You can view the crop while in the field and quickly change to view the road when traveling to another field.

A rotary radiator screen is standard for all models. The rear screen opens easily for convenient servicing of the air conditioning condenser, hydraulic oil cooler, radiator and intercooler.


The rotary screen precleaner reduces debris build up on the rear screen by using the vacuum generated from the engine fan to continuously sweep the screen.

Discbine® Disc Headers


Discbine® headers with MowMax™ cutterbar fly through acres of heavy crop in a hurry. Choose from three widths:
The 14-disc 770HD header delivers the widest disc cut on the market-an incredible 18 feet! This header defines high-volume haymaking and is a perfect match for the 226-hp H8080 windrower.
The 12-disc 750HD header matches with either the H8080 or H8060 windrowers to slice through 15 feet, five inches at a clip.
The 10-disc 720HD header provides a narrower 13-foot cutting width that's ideal for haymakers working in moist climates where drydown is difficult. Also compatible with either the H8080 or H8060, the 720HD provides a narrower operating and transport width, making it easier to maneuver in smaller fields, through tight gates or narrow lanes.


True modular MowMax™ cutterbar is durable and easy to service. Each disc is a separate, individually sealed gearbox with a dedicated oil reservoir. There's never an oil starvation issue, even with continuous cutting on an incline. The MowMax cutterbar is also designed for cleaner cutting and additional durability, including heavy, lower-profile cast rock guards, hardened alloy drive shafts, replaceable skid shoes, and superior lubrication. And, you gain extra peace of mind knowing that, if an internal driveline component does fail, damage will remain isolated due to the ShockPRO cutterbar protection system.


The New Holland ShockPRO™ hub heads off potential damage to the internal cutterbar driveline. If a ShockPRO hub breaks, it can be replaced in under 10 minutes at minimal cost.


ShockPRO cutterbar protection system reduces downtime and repair costs.


ShockPRO hubs include a partial complement of drive splines that break when encountering a foreign object, protecting the cutterbar gears and drive shafts from damage.


Thinner, lower-profile rock guards allow closer cutting at a flatter cutting angle.


Stepped module spacers improve the straightness of the cutterbar, allowing it to run more lightly on the ground for less wear, less damage and more consistent cut height.


A broad offering of knives includes standard seven-degree twist knives, 14-degree twist knives, special-design rock knives and 14-degree twist serrated knives. Rock knives are specifically designed for improved life when operating in extremely stony conditions. Serrated knives are ideally suited for sandy soils or abrasive operating conditions, providing long life in these harsh working environments. All knives are reversible for double the cutting life.


20-inch floating auger (750HD and 770HD only) delivers cut crop efficiently to conditioning rolls or directly to the windrow. The feed auger stretches across the complete cutting width of the head, extending to the outermost disc on each end, efficiently moving the crop away from the cutterbar and delivering it evenly to the conditioning rolls.


Wide 102-inch chevron-design intermeshing rubber rolls condition crop thoroughly. The 750HD and 770HD disc heads also provide additional conditioning alternatives, including optional, high-contact chevron rolls or optional slatted steel rolls. Or the conditioner module may be removed entirely, providing you with an outstanding range of available crop conditioning choices (optional closure kit required).


Torsion-bar system maintains constant roll pressure for consistent conditioning, yet automatically releases to allow "slugs" of heavy material to pass through.


No tools are required to make windrow width adjustments, and if you add the optional electric windrow shield adjustment feature, you can make changes to windrow width without leaving the cab. Place your crops in a wide 96-inch swath, a narrow 38-inch windrow, or any width in between.


Roll gap adjustment is easy. It's done from the top side of the header and only requires one wrench.


A simple hand crank allows you to adjust conditioning roll pressure, and a handy gauge provides a visual reference for the amount of conditioning pressure.


Header tilt angle indicator allows you to observe cutting angle with a glance through the front windshield. To make a cutting angle change, simply use the tilt switch on the multi-function handle.


The power reverser switch allows you to expel crop slugs without leaving the cab. At the touch of a button, the conditioning rolls, auger and discs reverse to remove plugs in seconds.


A modular conditioning roll assembly on the 750HD and 770HD Discbine disc headers can be removed if you cut crops that don't require conditioning. Just install the optional closure kit to produce windrows. And, the entire disc header can be removed easily and replaced with an HS sickle header or HB draper header in about 30 minutes (no tools required), making New Holland windrowers perfect for custom operators and multi-crop growers.


MowMax™ Cutterbar


Discbine® disc headers feature the MowMax™ true modular cutterbar that reduces downtime and operating costs. The three Discbine disc headers with the MowMax cutterbar are:
720HD - 13 ft.
750HD - 15.5 ft.

More gentle bends in the knife bolt area of turtle reduces wear concentration.


Cutterbar is constructed of heavy grey iron gearbox housings. Nodular iron is used for spares and rock guards.

Cutterbar structural damage from foreign object contact is isolated and can be repaired more quickly than on competitve models, thanks to the true modular design.


Easy service


ShockPRO hubs eliminate the need to change top cap gear assemblies when impacted by foreign objects. A partial complement of splines allows the hub to fail instead of the gears.


A clamp load drives the disc after the ShockPRO hub breaks and prevents a domino effect by allowing disc to partially retime.


Individual dip sticks and drain plugs for each module make monitoring oil level easy.


Entire cutterbar assembly can be dropped by removing just a few bolts.


Repairs are quicker and easier than on competitive models, thanks to the true modular design. Complete disassembly of the cutterbar is not necessary. Top cap gear assembly repair is simple, as in the past.


Dual Windrow Merger


The new, rugged, dual-windrow merger attachment from New Holland allows you to place two windrows side by side, increasing forage crop volume for today's high-capacity forage harvesters. It's easy to switch between single windrows and merging windrows. You lower and lift the merger right from the cab.


When fully lowered, the merger rides only a few inches above the ground to catch all the crop. If a field obstruction is encountered, the robust design allows the merger to float up and over, then automatically return to its original operating position, without operator assistance.


The merger tucks up tight and out of the way under the windrower frame when merging is not required.


Industry-leading clearance eliminates the chance of catching a windrow while crossing uneven terrain or other windrows on headlands.


Merger belt speed and deflector position are adjusted from inside the cab so you can effortlessly place the windrows exactly the way the forage harvester operator wants for optimum harvester productivity.


An endless merger belt takes the worry out of belt maintenance.


A V-guide on the inside of the belt ensures the belt will track evenly no matter how heavily it's loaded.


HS Haybine® Sicklebar Headers


For smooth, clean, sicklebar hay cutting, choose a 12-, 14-, 16- or 18-foot HS Haybine® sicklebar header to match your capacity needs. All sicklebar headers deliver time-proven cutting and conditioning performance.


You can achieve a 38-inch windrow, a 96-inch swath or any width in between without tools on every HS Series header. Add the electric windrow shield adjustment option for control of windrow formation from the cab.


Dual counter-stroking sickles with reliable modular wobble drive assure smooth cutting with minimum vibration and maintenance.


1810-spm sickle speed and full three-inch stroke deliver high-capacity cutting performance.


Bolt-on, over-serrated knife sections provide long cutting life and easy replacement, and adjustable knife hold-down clips speed maintenance.


Five-position adjustable skid shoes allow you to set the cutting height quickly, without tools.


Five-bat reel is fully adjustable to achieve the smoothest possible feeding.


Exclusive floating 20-inch auger with five-inch flighting floats up to two inches to handle heavy crops and delivers crop evenly to the conditioning rolls.


New Holland chevron-design, intermeshing rubber rolls are known for their thorough conditioning and fast drydown. The proven torsion-bar, roll-pressure system applies near-constant pressure through the wide 102-inch rolls and allows the rolls to open automatically when needed to clear slugs of material without stopping. High-contact chevron rolls are also available.


Roll pressure and roll gap adjustment are easy. Use the handy crank (A) to adjust roll pressure. A roll pressure indicator (B) is provided. Release the retainer and adjust the roll gap nut (C) to increase or decrease the gap.


Side shields flip up and lock in place for easy maintenance.


Specialty Headers


New Holland offers two "Grass Seed Special" headers specifically developed to bring legendary Speedrower® windrower performance and reliability to delicate crops that don't require conditioning, like grass seed, mint and flower seed.


Designed by New Holland engineers and built with genuine New Holland parts, the 750HD disc and 14HS sicklebar/auger specialty headers are also backed by New Holland's one-year factory warranty.


The NEW 750HD Specialty disc header works with the H8060 and H8080 windrowers to provide the latest in specialty crop productivity. It handles delicate crops with kid gloves and cuts a 15 ft. 5 in. path, creates consistent, evenly formed windrows, minimizes seed loss, and delivers significantly more throughput capacity than sickle heads.


The curtain push bar allows the head to gently engage tall crops, minimizing seed loss. If not needed, the curtain can be quickly stored out of the way on the head without restricting operator visibility. For specific crop conditions, a special curtain can be installed above the cutterbar in seconds, and without tools, to keep the crop flowing smoothly.


The MowMax™ cutterbar with adjustable disc speed cleanly cuts the crop.


The specially designed, floating auger gently, but positively moves crop to the center discharge opening.


The crop discharge opening can be set at 60 or 83 inches to tailor windrow width to your needs.


The 14HS Specialty sicklebar header delivers clean cutting in damp, heavy or tangled conditions, and gently windrow delicate seed crops for maximum seed retention with these built-in specialty features:
A fully adjustable six-bat reel with hydraulic reel drive allows you to make on-the-go reel speed adjustments from the cab.
Hydraulic-drive, dual, counter-stroking sickles are belt-timed for a swift 1828 spm knife speed for fast, clean cutting.
A reduced 196-rpm auger speed handles valuable seed crops gently.
Stub guards with quick-adjust hold downs allow for efficient cutting action in wet or dense undergrowth.
A wide crop opening in the header floor behind the cutterbar allows for gentle crop collection and windrow formation with the assistance of windrow forming rods. The opening may be easily set at 63 or 80 inches to match varying crops or conditions.
Five-position adjustable skid shoes allow you to set the cutting height quickly, without tools.


HB Draper Headers


Pair an HB draper header with any H8000 windrower, and you have a powerful combination-ideal for swathing small grains, canola, forage and specialty crops. Choose from four cutting widths- 21, 25, 30 or 36 feet.


Select from four reel options to match your crops and conditions:
5 bat pick-up with steel fingers
5 bat pick-up with plastic fingers
6 bat pick-up with steel fingers
6 bat pick-up with plastic fingers


All knife-drive systems are Schumacher, hydraulically driven, planetary-reduction sickle drive. You get your choice of cutterbar system-the New Holland double-knife drive cutterbar or the Schumacher cutterbar system, available in single- or double-knife drive. (Double-knife drive is recommended for green crop cutting.)


Strong 42-inch-wide, heavy-duty draper belts feed crop evenly to ensure consistent, uniform crop flow.


Choose center or double-swath delivery on the 25-, 30- and 36-foot models. Double swath heads feature shiftable decks that allows center delivery or end-windrow delivery for doubling of windrows. The 21-foot model only double swaths.


Fixed-position crop deflector shields protect the drives without restricting heavy or wide windrows. These shields improve the clearance under the windrower frame for bushy, wide windrows of canola or cereal crops and are standard on all windrowers ordered with the optional center delivery draper-ready and on the H8040 Prairie Special. When adjustable shields are needed, it's simple to make the change.


Optional upper feed auger is hydraulically driven on draper headers to help move extremely heavy or high-volume crops into the windrow opening.


In-cab hydraulic reel and draper speed adjustment are standard equipment to adapt quickly to different crop conditions.


You can change knife angle using the hydraulic tilt cylinder.


Optional adjustable gauge wheels are available for the 21-, 25-, 30- and 36-foot center delivery HB Series draper heads and the 30-foot deck shift HB draper head . A handy crank along with a sight gauge on each wheel allows the operator to quickly set the wheels in a wide range of heights, to help maintain consistent cutting height in the field.


The return-to-cut feature allows you to position cut-height cylinders located on each lift arm that makes it easy to return to your pre-set cutting height after each pass (when cutting above ground level). It's easy to shorten or lengthen the cut-height cylinders in the field to reach crop that is down. You can also adjust the right- and left-hand cylinders separately to produce a stubble pattern that retains more windblown snow and its valuable moisture.
